Facilities and Features
Newton Primary has excellent facilities that have recently been upgraded.
Newton Primary has a wide variety of classroom and learning areas for students to develop their passion for learning.
Newton has a purpose built library with a wide variety of books for all ages and research materials for students to access.
The school has purpose built Music and Science classrooms. The Science room is also used for Art lessons.
The school holds a large fully enclosed undercover area for those rainy days or extreme heat for the students to be safe out of the weather.
Newton has large open play areas with age appropriate play areas for students to climb and explore.
We have 3 separate play ground areas, 2 basketball courts and 2 netball courts.
With a funding grant from Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Project and Woolworths Land Grant, we have been able to build and update additional garden beds for our community kitchen garden.
